SharePoint 2010 Data Connection Manager

With this SharePoint solution you can add data connections strings or any ther ype f key ,persisted in the SPWebApplication object. Control it in Central Administration site.

Ideal for complement the migration process for old ASP.NET applications to the new plataform.









STEP 1
Activate this FARM Feature in Central Administration

Click on the "Data Connection Manager" on the Web Applications Group Administration

Create or a edit a data connection string

Its simple! Use it.

To access this key within your code, just use:

webApp.Properties["spugptdataconn_NAME_OF_THE_KEY"].ToString()
